I, like many of you i'm sure, have a large collection of Orlando-related things (posters, newspaper/magazine clippings, figurines, pins, notebooks, pillows, etc.) and I'm just wondering what other people's collections consist of and what are your individual reasons for collecting Orlando-related things?

The reason I ask is because I am writing a paper about collecting/collections and using my own collection as an example, but would love to hear what other people have to say about their Orlando collections.

I've got hundreds of photographs of him on my PC, I've also got his autograph from wen he was in 'In Celebration', I took a few photos of him myself and also have a piece of video which I took aswell. I'm also a film junkie and have all his films

Posters, pictures, magazine clippings, pillows, blanket, popcorn bucket, cups, unopened can of rootbeer that has legolas on it , puzzles, games (POTC life, battleship, monopoly, scene it, scrabble and LOTR trivial pursuit that all has his picture on the games), calendars, jewelry, pins/buttons, magnets, t-shirts, jacket, dvds, folders, notebooks, pens and pencils, stickers, washable tatoos, night light, clock, watch, socks...

Most of my collection is POTC related stuff that has him as will on it and to answer your question about why i collect this stuff is basically because back when POTC was really popular every time i went to hottopic or claires they would have merchandise with orlando on it and come on who could resist that face? and in the past year the dollar store has had old potc stuff (thats where i got the night light, tatoos, and stickers) for only a dollar so of course i cant pass up an offer that good! lol

Ha me too..nightlite...crayons..JUmbos and three pack..mini frisbees...coloring posters...
and two messanger bags and small formal purse that I got a Spencer Gifts

also the Halmark store had xmas ornements on sale..got my wil and jack ones...

and when I worked McDonald's the whole store knew that when any PotC stuff came in for ads it was mine when the campaigne was done..so i have like the whole happy meal toy display..the signs that were on the windows..and the gift cards..lol

i bought those at the dollar store too
and i also forgot i have i wallet and a matching purse from claires

I had a big magazine article collection with 25 or so articles, but it's with my parents.

Besides owning most of his movies, a Pirates calender, an 'Aztec gold' necklace & Will bracelet from Disneyland and a Legolas cardboard standup, I don't really have any "collections."

I don't have a lot since I jumped on board the Orlando train early this year, long after POTC and LOTR but I do have a folder and nite lite. I have only 6 of his movies but plan to get them all. I have a shrine in my bedroom on my vanity mirror lol! I have a few pictures of Orlando around the mirror. I hope my hubby doesn't mind.

Okay... I have a collection of DVD's and a few print-outs in a folder... some movie-posters that seem to lie around somewhere in a heap and for my birthday (back in January) a good friend gave me a calendar... and a Will Turner coffee-cup... which I've never used... *lmao* other than that, I'm not much of of a collector. I kept some cinema-magazines though with articles and reviews about KoH...

It's all kept on the forums anyway, sort of...

I know me either..which is why when I saw them I grabbed them....one jack..one wil..i have them on my hope chest..my room is actually pirate themed...so I have a lot of PotC stuff...I do however love all things pirate...lol
