I was wondering what happened to the awards because I looked in the old thread and it said it was gonna be seasonal (which I agree with) but it said the the new ones would start June 1st, so I was wondering if the board was going to still have the awards thing because I always thought it was fun.

The current host of the awards has decided to wait a bit longer before proceeding with the awards, as she wishes to give everyone the chance to deal with end-of-the-year school stuff. They should be back soon!

Also, what about the Fan Fiction Awards? Because I remember that the mods decided to make them into a different Award thread/voting thing, but it doesn't get that much attention as the regular OBF awards, should someone start that up again? I just think that the writers should be getting awards too

Yeah, they used to be all together, but they split it up because of the rule that someone can't win more than two awards so everyone gets a chance, but then it just didn't get much attention like the regular awards, so maybe we should put it back together again, but I'm not sure.

Well, since the Fan Fic Awards will be combined with the next awards, we could wait, or we can host a separate, so that the next time the awards roll around it can just start fresh.

Here's what the awards are:

So if we were to host it separate from the OBF Awards, then we would post this so people can send in their nominations, then after a week, we count the top three most popular and have those as the nominees, and then have a week for voting to see who the winners are.

Yeah, I would post them in the Orlando Bloom Disscussion, but I actually need permission from a mod to host them I think, I mean Sarah (theobfiles) just said she doesn't mind them being combined with the regular OBFiles awards again, so I mailed another mod asking if we could host it, so I'm just waiting on that.
